Obama sends message to Taliban- hang out for 18 months then U.S. will be gone

In perhaps the most idiotic speech ever delivered by a war time leader, (I use the term "leader" loosely), Barack Obama laid out a timetable for the Taliban and Al-Queada to lay in wait in the mountains of Pakistan, until U.S. forces withdraw from the country.  Obama said that America will rush 30,000 combat troops into the country, but no more than that, in the next six months, and then begin withdrawing them 12 months later.

For the Taliban and Al-Queada, all they have to do is wait it out.  They can even give the impression that they have beeen subdued by no longer engaging. Then, once the U.S. forces leave, return in force to the country.  History tells us that they can wait us out.  They waited out the Soviet Empire for about 20 years.  18 months should be a picnic.

As for the U.S., we are going to have to pay for Obama to carry out his campaign rhetoric at a time when we can’t even afford a pack of chewing gum.  Then, Obama can declare a victory, which the bubble media will dutifully report, and the war is over for us.  Thus closing the circle as the most dishonest politician in America’s history.  Obama will have been a pathetic war president, but a masterful manipulator.
