Liberals across the spectrum are furious at Joe Lieberman for his refusal to agree to a health care bill that contained any semblance of a public option. Politico described the anger as "white hot". Because of his transience, the White House ordered Harry Reid to drop the medicare buy in provision from the Senate legislation. On Tuesday, Reid will have to come up with a definitive plan, so that the CBO can score the plan by Thursday.
